PAUL McGILLICK
Dr Paul McGillick, PhD Griffith, M.Arch UNSW, is editor of quarterly architecture and design magazine, Indesign, and cross-cultural residential architecture magazine, Habitus. He is a former editor of Monument. His books include a study of architect, Alex Popov, a history of Sydney architecture, a survey of new residential architecture in Singapore and Malaysia, a study of leading Malaysian architectural practice, Hijjas Kasturi, as well as a study of the Australian playwright, Jack Hibberd. He was previously chief visual and performing arts critic for The Australian Financial Review (1985-2001) and Series Editor, Producer and Presenter for SBS TV’s arts programme, Imagine (1994-1996). He taught at the University of Sydney from 1979-2002 in the areas of applied linguistics and foreign language learning and teaching. He holds a PhD from Griffith University and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of New South Wales.
