DANIELLE PINET
Danielle Pinet, Laurea Arch. IUAV, M.Arch. SCI-Arc, RAIA, is an award winning director of extensively published Sydney-based architectural firm Barrett Pinet Architecture. She was born in Montevideo, and after commencing studies in architecture in Uruguay Danielle left to study for six years in Venice, Italy, and to work in Paris. Returning to Uruguay she established practice as Pinet Farina Arquitectos for several years. Working together with Roger Barrett from 1992, Danielle moved to Sydney. She has extensive experience with ecological and sustainable projects; residential projects; alteration and addition projects; and the adaptive reuse of existing buildings. He has taught extensively at Sydney’s universities, has lectured widely, and is an accomplished painter, curating the "In the Soul of the Architect" exhibition in 2005. She has lived for study, research and work in 5 major international cities and now resides partly in Montevideo as well as Sydney.
