FRANK STANISIC
Frank Stanisic, BSc(Arch), BArch(Hons1) Syd, RAIA, is a multi-award winning, Sydney-based architect and urbanist. He was featured in Sydney Magazine’s top 100 Sydney’s most influential people. Born in Sydney, he is committed to exploring the relationship of architecture to the city’s evolving urban life and culture. He founded Stanisic Associates in 1990. Since that time he has designed live, work, hybrids, interiors, streets and master plans. His completed projects are spread throughout metro-Sydney and Newcastle. His buildings have won numerous state and national awards including the RAIA Premier’s, Wilkinson and Special Jury Awards and most recently the inaugural 2008 RAIA Aaron Bolot and 2008 Frederick Romberg Awards. Frank maintains practice, teaching and professional commitments. Frank’s work is fuelled by an evolving interest in the diagram and frame as a basis for architectural invention, and the aesthetics of operability. He has been published extensively, both nationally and internationally.
